Na Morales - Talk: Continuous Creation
Na Morales will tell us in this talk about her path through the creation of music, from the academy, the research, the literature, and the experimentation in contemporary music. This is a creative journey through conundrums, difficulties, and solutions, where those who are willing to listen and wonder about sound exploration can come together.
Throughout her job as a songwriter and performer, Na Morales has generated a repertoire linked to the Latin American folk roots. She has created music influenced by the traditions, but open to whatever the academy, the city, and life can add to this way. In 2014, she moved to Buenos Aires to study the Masters Degree in Musical Creation, New Technologies, and Traditional Arts. There, she faced the creation of sounding speeches away from any academic schemes. This experience allowed her to explore contemporary music with an awarded project by the Ministry of Culture in 2018.
